Well as long as I have the Z any other car I own is my beater. It's a 2000 Metallic Pewter C5 6-spd with all factory options and I do mean all.
Couple initital impressions for any of you that are curious how the C5 and TTZ compare: Build quality: Z wins hands down. The C5 is the tightest GM product I've ever seen but the way this car is put together still can't touch the Z. Oh well. Interior/Ergonomics: C5 is a little more snug, much better seats, pretty cool instrument cluster, gets bonus points for the factory H.U.D. Z is a little more open and easier access to all controls. The Z totally wins the forward view from the cockpit, C5 has fender and hood bulges allover the place. Engine: A little dissapointing, FEELS about even with a Stage III but it's a little deceptive because the engine builds revs slower and there is no Turbo slingshot effect. Pulls hard from 1500 rpm all the way to 6500. There's a 40-50 hp intake/chip/exhaust kit I'm installing next week. For now the ticking timebomb kicks the C5's butt all over the place. Handling: C5 with active suspension is incredible, not harsh at all but just sticks in corners and sweepers like it's on rails. The strange thing is it FEELS bigger and much heavier than the Z, even though it's much lighter. Hmm... C5 wins over stock Z easily. Brakes: Not even close. C5 by a landslide. Looks: I love them both. The C5 is so much cooler looking in person than in pics. In public the C5 gets way more attention and respect, this car gets ALOT of looks and people just flat out get out of the way on the fwy, lol. Sorry if this was boring, hopefully if you had no interest you didn't waste time reading it anyway.
